El Conquistador (Nagual Bull)
Description
The bull is perhaps the most recognizable symbol of Spain and one of the main domestic animals that crossed from the Iberian Peninsula to the New World.
This nagual bull figure represents the characteristics that a conquistador must posses: Determination, bravery, force, courage and intelligence. The figure wears an elegant golden armor, a product of metallurgy in general, one of the main technologies that arrived with the Spanish. The character’s enormous golden horns reflect its social status.
